O’Hare O’Dwyer Solicitors LLP is based in Sutton, Dublin 13 and was established by two Dublin-based solicitors, Tom O’Hare and Michael O’Dwyer, who both share the same focus on providing clients with peace of mind through legal advice and representation.

Property

We aim to assist you through the entire process from start to finish, responding efficiently and helping you to understand the process and procedures involved.

Litigation/Dispute Resolution

We can provide advice, guidance and assistance in relation to litigation matters, ranging from business disputes, contract disputes and disagreements over issues such as property, to personal injury* and medical negligence claims.

Administrative Law

Administrative Law pertains to the law regulating Public Authorities including the Government and other State Bodies for example, An Garda Síochána, Courts Service, An Bord Pleanála, Government Departments.

Employment Law

We provide advice in relation to employment law including advising employers and employees on contracts of employment, termination of employment and transfer of employees as part of a business transfer.

Wills/Probate/Enduring Powers of Authority

A Will is important so that you choose a person (an executor) to carry out your instructions under your will, and how you would like your estate to be distributed. We can provide advice and tailor the Will to your personal circumstances.

Personal Injuries

If you are injured due to the fault or negligence of another person or are in an accident, you may be entitled to bring a claim for compensation through the Personal Injuries Board and through the courts if necessary.

Licensing Law

We can provide advice and services to clients, publicans and restaurant owners. in relation to licensing law and licensing matters, including new applications, transfers and annual renewals.

Family Law

We can advise you on Family Law matters, including the legal and financial issues which arise on a breakdown of a marriage, civil partnership or other relationship.

Notary Public

We can provide a notarial service if you require the notarisation of documentation for use outside Ireland.  Please contact us for assistance.

Tom graduated from UCD in 1997 with a Bachelor of Business and Legal Studies and qualified as a solicitor in 2001. Tom has worked in general private practice since that time and has extensive experience in many areas including Residential and Commercial Property, Litigation & Dispute Resolution, Probate & Wills, Employment and Family Law. Tom also has a Diploma in Civil Litigation from the Law Society of Ireland.

Michael graduated from UCD in 1998 with a Bachelor of Business Legal Studies and qualified as a solicitor in 2002. Michael has worked in Australia in the past, and also in the area of criminal law and in general practice since that time. He has extensive experience including Residential and Commercial Property, Probate and Wills, Litigation, Employment and Family Law. Michael also has a Diploma in Notarial Law from the Faculty of Notaries Public and is a Notary Public for the county of Dublin and surrounding counties of Wicklow, Kildare and Meath.
